Your main responsibilities

  • Develop custom Odoo modules and applications

  • Design clean, scalable architectures aligned with Odoo best practices

  • Customize existing Odoo modules to match complex retail and logistics workflows

  • Work closely with Business / Functional Analysts to translate business needs into technical solutions

  • Challenge requirements when they create long-term maintenance or upgrade risks

  • Participate in:

    • Technical analysis

    • Data migration projects

    • Upgrades and performance improvements

  • Support internal teams when deeper technical expertise is required

You will not be dropped into pure support or endless small tweaks.

This role is about building solid solutions that last.


The team you’ll join

You’ll join a multidisciplinary Odoo team that recently transitioned from a legacy ERP to Odoo:

  • Functional Analysts with strong Odoo implementation experience

  • Medior Odoo developers (Python & JavaScript)

  • Database and infrastructure experts (Docker, hosting, on-prem & cloud)

  • First-line support and field engineers

What we’re looking for


Must-haves

  • Medior to senior experience with Odoo

  • Strong knowledge of Python

  • Experience with custom module development

  • Fluent in Dutch

  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming

  • Comfortable working in complex, real-life business environments

  • A mindset focused on quality, autonomy, and ownership

Nice to have

  • JavaScript experience (Odoo frontend)

  • Experience in retail, wholesale, logistics, or accounting

  • Understanding of long-term Odoo maintenance and upgrade strategies

  • Experience working with functional analysts and end users

Personality

  • Transparent and direct communication

  • Comfortable challenging decisions when needed

  • Takes responsibility from idea to delivery

      • Heavy use of custom modules and custom apps

    • Warehouse Management System (WMS) for fully automated warehouses

    • Transport Management Software, connected to the WMS

    • Hosting, maintenance, upgrades, and long-term support (SLA-based)

    We adapt Odoo to real business needs, even when that means challenging the customer on long-term maintainability.

    What we offer: 

    • Salary range:

      • €3,000 – €4,000 gross for ~2 years Odoo experience

      • €4,000+ gross for 4+ years experience

    • Full benefits package, including:

  • Remote policy:

    • First 6 months:

      • 4 days on-site

      • 1 day remote
